2018 Community Pickling Day

Happy New Year friends + flowers!

You are cordially invited to come and get your pickle on at Culture Club's annual

Community Pickling Day
Saturday February 3

Once again we have partnered with Edward + Fiona from Adsum Farmhouse who are growing gherkins especially for us. So if you don't have your own homegrown cucumbers to bring along, you can pre-order Adsum Farm organic gherkins:

$7 per kilo. They are providing us with 60kg of gherkins so you'd better get your orders in quick.

Please email your order to daylesfordcultureclub@gmail.com by Saturday January 27 and pay on the day. To keep things streamlined, please do not contact Adsum Farmhouse with your orders.

What to bring along on the day:
  • exact change if you've ordered Adsum Farm gherkins
  • as many clean jars + lids, or crocks as you'll need for your pickles
  • a measuring cup
  • a tablespoon measure
  • a small knife
  • a chopping board
  • salt, garlic cloves, black peppercorns, bay leaves, fresh dill or dill seeds, mustard seeds, leaves containing tannin (grape, cherry, oak, horseradish, green or black tea)

There is no need to book, just rock up. Looking forward to seeing you there!
